They’re ideal for renters rather than homeowners, plus, you can move them around and adjust their height because of the long cord.

On the flip side, hardwired pendant lights need to be installed directly into the electrical system, usually up on the ceiling with a canopy. They’re more of a permanent fixture and give off a clean look. So, it’s all about what suits your vibe, how long you want it to stick around, and where you’ve got power connections.

The installation of ceiling canopy style bamboo pendant lights is fairly simple and can generally be done by a homeowner following provided instructions, especially if they have some basic knowledge of electrical work. Keeping your bamboo and rattan pendant lights looking sharp is a breeze. Just give them a gentle dusting or wipe down every now and then. Use a soft, dry cloth or a feather duster to keep dust at bay. This prevents dirt buildup that can dull their natural shine.
