What types of bulbs work best for rustic lighting fixtures?

Bulbs! We love ’em all! The choice of bulb for your rustic fixtures can really make a big difference in how your lighting feels and looks. Technically, any bulb compatible with the thread type of the bulb holder will work, but the two most common styles available are also our top choices:

Edison Bulbs: We love, love, love Edison bulbs! You’ve probably seen these babies lighting up coffee shops and bars. You’ll notice we use them in most of our product photos, as we really dig that vintage, industrial look with exposed filaments. Arguably the best choice of bulb for rustic lighting, they emit warm, soft light, creating an atmosphere that feels like snuggling under a blanket on a winter’s day.

Incandescent Bulbs: Our go-to bulb for a classic and clean look. Modern and fresh. Incandescent bulbs provide a familiar feeling of light, one that perfectly complements rustic decor, especially when used in kitchen lighting.
