The bamboo light shades are our beloved artisan-woven fish trap baskets, a sustainable choice for lighting. Both lightweight and flexible, they are able to be adjusted into various shapes and looks.

Utilizing a range of bold colors, we’ve dyed each basket’s lower section, creating a vibrant lighting ensemble that really embodies statement lighting. Here, we have an energetic hot pink color.

Choose from the shade on its own (including accessories to attach it to an existing light cord) or pair it with one of our pendant kits.

CHOOSING A PENDANT KIT TO HANG YOUR LIGHT SHADE

If you would like to add a pendant kit to your purchase of a light shade, you can choose between two installation styles: hardwired and plug-in.

It’s fairly self-explanatory—hardwired ceiling lighting is hardwired into an existing light junction in your ceiling with a light canopy that covers the hole, while plug-in lighting, also known as swag lighting, plugs into a standard electrical outlet or socket.

Keep in mind that for plug-in lighting, you’ll need to find somewhere to suspend the pendant light from—a hook, wall bracket, or some other point from which to let it hang.

Whether you prefer a plug-in or hardwired installation, each style of pendant kit is available in three looks: white, black, and natural wood.

Finally, the length of the light cord can be specified when selecting your pendant kit, ensuring you can hang your pendant light at the perfect height.
