A marvel of traditional craftsmanship, this suspended bamboo rattan light shade combines subtle wood tones with a deep, dark purple color.

It’s a colorful version of our famous fish trap pendant light — the same handmade, flexible bamboo basket is used, but we’ve hand-dyed the lower section to add a pop of color.

In keeping with our love of all that is handcrafted, the dyed section is not perfectly straight, nor is the color always exactly the same hue. Not that every shade will be noticeably different from afar, but up close, you can appreciate these signs of genuinely handmade lighting. We’re dyeing these by hand, made to order.

Every light shade is available individually or with pendant light cord sets, ready to hang. If you already have a cord set and just want to add the shade, we’ll include the necessary brackets and attachments.

Multiple sizes are available, and every basket is flexible, meaning you can create a ton of unique shapes from a single light shade.

A FLEXIBLE, SUSPENDED RATTAN LIGHT SHADE WITH PURPLE COLOR ACCENTS

This bamboo rattan light fixture consists of a dip-dyed woven fish trap basket, flexible and lightweight, optionally combined with one of our versatile pendant light kits.

The lower section of the basket features a deep purple shade—one of our favorite colors in interior design. You don’t need to paint a wall or go full-on with lavender and lilac to feel the benefits of this color; just a hint of purple, like at the bottom of these light shades, is enough to evoke that luxurious, royal feeling.

Customize your pendant light by choosing the light shade size, style of pendant kit (including hardwired and plug-in versions), and even the length of your light cord.

HARDWIRED AND PLUG-IN PENDANT LIGHTING KITS FOR ANY SPACE

We offer both hardwired and plug-in light suspension sets, perfect for any space, whether residential or business.

Hardwired lighting simply connects to your existing home wiring and/or light junction box (this is the most common type of pendant light), whereas plug-in lighting plugs into an electrical outlet like, for example, a traditional bedside lamp.

Three different looks are available for both installation styles—white, black, and natural. The white and black pendant light hanging kits feature smooth PVC light cords and silicone bulb holders, while the natural style has a jute rope light cord sleeve and a natural wood bulb holder. Of course, the hardwired option also features a ceiling canopy—for this, the white and black kits contain a metal canopy, while the natural kit continues the rustic theme with a wooden canopy to match the bulb holder.

Lastly, you can specify a cord length when choosing your desired light kit to ensure you have the perfect pendant light hanging height.
