Introducing a new addition to our beloved classic range, this jumbo pendant light features the same design, but in an extra large size.

This eye-catching pendant light is crafted from a handwoven fishing trap basket, repurposed into a stunning jumbo light shade almost a meter tall. The innovative weave design of this basket offers versatility, allowing it to be compressed or expanded for different shapes and positions. While its natural state is oblong, you can easily achieve diverse shapes by compressing from each end and securing with the provided twine to maintain your desired form.

A variety of canopy and cable sets in black, white, or natural wood and rope are available. Alternatively, you can opt to purchase the basket pendant on its own, allowing customization with your preferred cable set, or use it solely for decorative purposes.

An extra large jumbo pendant light basket shade with a gorgeous rustic appearance and elegant shape. Crafted from natural bamboo in Northern Thailand.

Available with your choice of ceiling canopy pendant kit. Choose from white, black or natural wood styles.

E27 & E26 compatible bulb holder with soft silicone or natural wood cover.

Includes a metal support bracket and cable grips for attaching the shade to the cable.

Jumbo size basket measurements

Dimensions when in the natural tall form:

Height: 90-100 cm (35-40″)
Diameter: 45-50 cm (17-20″)

Dimensions when in a round ball position:

Height: 65-70 cm (24-27″)
Diameter: 60-65 cm (23-25″)

Ceiling canopy diameter

White and black styles: 14.5 cm
Natural wood style: 13 cm

The light cable can be made to any length. If the default length of 100cm is not suitable for you, please enter your desired length when selecting your canopy set option. Length is measured from the ceiling canopy plate to the bulb holder

Our jumbo pendant lamps are dispatched directly from Northern Thailand, where they are crafted, using tracked airmail. Typically, your light should reach you in 12–21 business days using our free standard airmail option. If you’d like it a little quicker, our express upgrade shortens the delivery time to approximately 5–10 business days.

We also offer 30-day returns on all of our lighting creations, including this jumbo beauty. Whether it’s not your style, or perhaps it’s just a little bigger than you imagined, just get in touch within 30 days of receipt.

LIGHT BULB FOR A JUMBO PENDANT LIGHT

What light bulb is best for an extra large pendant light like this? It’s up to you, really. We’re big fans of Edison bulbs, but LED bulbs work just as well. For jumbo pendant lights like this, maybe try a long filament bulb or even a decorative-shaped bulb—something that fills out the shade a little and draws the eye.

The bulb holder is compatible with E26 or E27 bulb thread types, so as long as it has a compatible thread style, the shape or color is up to you.

NATURAL & HANDWOVEN PENDANT SHADES

Sticking to our authenticity commitment, every shade is made by hand using natural materials. Each shade consists only of thin bamboo strips, carefully interwoven. Due to the handmade nature of the shade, subtle imperfections may be present, whether in size, shape, or tone. We think these add to the character of the shade, an expression of artisan roots.

CAN I USE THIS LIGHT FIXTURE OUTDOORS?

You can use the bamboo shade outdoors, sure, but sadly our pendant kits are not weatherproof. If you want to hang this big boy outdoors, you’ll need to purchase an outdoor rated cable kit separately.
