With a traditional motif design from the hill tribes of S.E Asia, this indigo batik yoga pillow is full of charm.

Corded borders provide a clean finish, with an invisible zipper along the length of the bolster for ease of filling, whether with a loose stuffing or an insert.

A unique pillow cushion, whether used for yoga, decoration on sofas and beds, or simply for adding some authentic ethnic textile character to your space.

Choose from two options – a pillow cover only, ready to be filled with the filling of your choice, or the cover complete with a natural kapok filled insert.

AN INDIGO BATIK YOGA PILLOW WITH HEART

True to our mission of using authentically made and sourced textiles and materials, this indigo batik yoga pillow is created using indigo plant dyed fabric from the Hmong hill tribe. The fabric is dyed using traditional methods, dipped into a large vat of indigo plant dye with batik motifs applied using hand crafted blocks. Finally, we use natural kapok as our filling of choice.

ENJOY THE COMFORT OF NATURAL ORGANIC KAPOK

Each of our indigo batik yoga pillows is available with a cotton insert filled with 100% natural, organic kapok from the Ceiba tree. Our kapok is harvested right here in Thailand, untreated, unbleached – an environmentally sound choice that is also extremely comfortable.

CARING FOR YOUR PILLOW

Pillow cover maintenance & cleaning:

Cleaning and maintaining the pillow cover is hassle-free – remove any insert or fill material then wash the cover by hand in warm water, without the use of chemicals, and finally shade dry.

Washing a kapok insert:

It is possible to wash an insert filled with kapok, although it is known to take a long time to dry out due to it’s density, so we recommend removing the kapok material from the insert before washing. The insert is regular cotton, and so can be washed by hand or machine as normal.

Kapok filling maintenance:

Kapok as a cushion fill requires minimal maintenance. Simply fluff up the kapok fiber occasionally to maintain the cushion’s plumpness. You can also adjust the amount of kapok to achieve your desired level of firmness.
