A round-shaped version of our popular woven fishing trap pendant light. The same artisan weaves with the same sustainable bamboo, just in a round shape.

Each round bamboo basket shade is handmade in the northern regions of Thailand by skilled, traditional artisans. The loose weave softly diffuses the light, while the subtle bamboo tones add an airy, natural feel to your space.

Three sizes are available, with three optional pendant kit styles to choose from too. If you’d just like the round woven shade without any pendant kit, no worries; we include cord grips and mounting brackets so you can add the shade to your existing setup with ease.

AUTHENTICALLY CRAFTED ROUND WOVEN PENDANT LIGHTS

Merging a classic light fixture shape with natural, eco-friendly materials, these round bamboo basket shades bring rustic elegance and an airy, outdoorsy feel to their surroundings. Each round pendant light shade is woven by hand; there’s nothing artificial here. Long, thin cuts of bamboo are interwoven by local artisans in the heart of northern Thailand using traditional techniques and weaves.

HARDWIRED CANOPY KITS FOR ROUND WOOD LIGHT SHADES

Choosing a pendant kit style for a round light shade like this is simple, as almost any color and material works well with bamboo. We have three to choose from, each being your typical, universally compatible, hardwired installation type. 

First up, the contemporary classics: white and black. A bit boring? Maybe. But they’re classics for a reason. A white metal canopy, white PVC light cord, and white bulb holder allow the natural tones of bamboo to shine and contribute to that breezy feel. The black version is similar but adds more contrast. Finally, our rustic wood and rope kit complements a nature-inspired or farmhouse theme, adding a touch of the rustic. This is a great choice for rooms that already have a little wood decor.

HOW CAN I ADJUST THE HEIGHT OF THE PENDANT SHADE?

Worried about getting the height right for your hanging light shade? No need to worry; as well as being able to adjust the position of the hanging bracket on the light cord, you can also specify a cord length for your pendant kit.

The default length is 100 cm, as this length tends to work for most rooms and positions. If you require a different length, simply enter the details when choosing your pendant kit style (there’ll be a little box that pops up). Of course, you can always shorten the length simply by pulling more light cord behind the canopy plate, so there’s no need to have exact measurements; just ballpark estimates will be fine.
