This bamboo rattan light fixture, hand-crafted from a repurposed fish trap basket, brings real artisan craftsmanship into your home.

Perfect for adding a touch of rustic chic to a space, each light shade is woven by hand into a tall and slender shape using locally sourced bamboo. The simple yet elegant weave encases the bulb, leaving space between each bamboo strand that allows a warm glow to radiate outward from within.

Five sizes are available, with each pendant shade being a truly unique piece full of natural imperfections and subtle differences, whether in tone, size, or shape.

Grab the shade by itself, or combine it with one of our plug-in pendant light kits for a versatile pendant that you can hang anywhere. Alternatively, if you’d prefer a hardwired version with a ceiling canopy, you’re in luck—the same boho light fixture is available with hardwired ceiling light kits.

A UNIQUE, HANDCRAFTED BAMBOO RATTAN LIGHT FIXTURE

This sustainable bamboo rattan light fixture combines traditional craftsmanship and modern versatility, with a sprinkle of Lanna Passa personalization on top. Handcrafted by local basket weavers based in the Chiang Mai region of Thailand, each light shade is masterfully woven using nothing but natural bamboo. The finished shape is a classic pendant shade form, long and tall, ideal for spaces with high ceilings and perfect for creating small clusters of pendant lights. 

Combining these pendant shades with one of our plug-in swag light kits opens up a world of possibilities. Plug the swag light cord into an electrical outlet (like you would a regular lamp), and then use ceiling hooks, brackets, or other pieces of furniture to hang your pendant, draping the light cord around your space as you go.

All of our bamboo and rattan light fixtures are shipped directly from our home in northern Thailand. We offer free worldwide shipping, no matter the size, shape, or quantity. There’s also an optional express delivery upgrade option available at checkout if you’re in a hurry. Typically, your order should be delivered to your door within the following timeframes:
