A beautiful, light-colored ottoman that we’ve created using a vintage dress textile sourced from the Flower Hmong Hill Tribe.

Not only is this ottoman a unique piece, truly one-of-a-kind, but it’s also gorgeous to look at. Bright pink embroidery merges with a light base and subtle cream borders, while its vintage roots and weathered look give it that extra something, we think. It even has the faded pleat marks visible on the fabric from it’s previous life as a hill tribe dress.

As with all of our ottomans, it is available as a cover only or with a pre-filled ottoman insert stuffed with organic kapok.

A LIGHT AN AIRY OTTOMAN POUF WITH TONS OF VINTAGE CHARM

This ottoman cushion has a playful, airy look, one that is ideal for adding some flair to your living space without going overboard.

The textile we’ve used was once worn as a dress by the Flower Hmong, a hill tribe known for their bright colors and embroidery. You can see remnants of its previous life, as soft pleat marks and worn patterns adorn the ottoman, from top to bottom.

We’ve completed its look with light-colored corded borders, along with a zipper on the bottom, allowing you to easily fill or clean the cover.

ADD AN INSERT FILLED WITH NATURAL, ORGANIC KAPOK

We’re big on anything organic here at Lanna Passa, and our choice of ottoman filling is no exception. We use kapok, which is gathered from the Ceiba tree. It’s known by a few different names, including java cotton and silk cotton.

Why do we love kapok? It has that luxury organic feel without any artificial additions; it’s odorless, non-toxic, and natural. It’s just all-around great, really.
