Bring colorful threads and vintage character into your space with this beautiful hill tribe textile ottoman.

Featuring a traditionally dyed indigo batik pattern on a light cotton base, faded and worn over time, resulting in a gorgeous rustic vibe. Embroidered stripes in pinks and bright colors run the length of the ottoman, bringing color and a playful-ness. A unique hand cross-stitched border section runs along the top of the main section, bright and airy, adorned with various motifs and shapes. Cotton-corded borders separate the top and bottom sections, featuring a zipper beneath the bottom cord for convenient cleaning and easy filling.

Available as cover only, ready for you to stuff it full of your favorite filling material, or complete with an insert filled with natural, organic kapok.

This stunning hill tribe textile ottoman is crafted from a unique vintage Hmong dress textile.

Approximate dimensions: 18″ diameter x 14″ height (cord edge to cord edge) – with filling and/or an insert, the dimensions are nearer 18″ x 18.

A convenient zipper enclosure underneath allows for hassle-free filling and removing of insert for cleaning or washing.

Available with a white cotton insert with natural kapok filling.

HILL TRIBE TEXTILE OTTOMAN CARE

Spilled something on your ottoman? Does it just need a good clean from getting a lot of use? No worries – washing and cleaning your ottoman cover is easy-peasy

First, remove any fill material or insert. Then either wash by hand in warm water (recommended), or alternatively, put it into a machine, on its own, and give it a very delicate wash. We strongly recommend a hand wash, just to ensure the fabric stays in good condition.

What about the kapok filling?

Kapok is a great pick for ottoman cushions because it’s super easy to maintain. Just give the kapok fiber a little fluff every now and then to keep your cushion comfy. Add or take out some kapok to get that perfect squishiness you love.

Our hill tribe textile ottomans and poufs are made from authentic Hmong and Lisu textiles. We use a range of vintage dress fabrics, indigo batiks, cottons and hemps, as well as locally woven textiles for finishing and complimenting our ethnic selection. All of which are sourced directly from hill tribe communities in the Northern regions of Thailand.
