SCULPTURAL TRIPOD FORM IN SOLID WOOD
The open tripod base provides stability without visual weight. There’s a subtle contrast at play – strong straight lines formed from rounded wooden poles.
The larger vertical pole acts as the spine, drawing the eye upward and adding gentle height and balance to your space.
Unlike bulky traditional tripod lamps, this Japandi design feels open and proportioned – ideal for modern minimalist interiors.
CABLE LENGTH & ELECTRICAL DETAILS
The standard cable length is 4 meters (from bulb to plug). Once wrapped around the poles, approximately 120–150cm of free cable remains to reach a wall outlet.
If you need a different length, simply leave your preferred measurement in the order notes and we will make to that length for you.
The plug type is matched to your destination country – we support all major international plug standards.
Due to the thickness of the cord, there is no inline switch. The lamp is designed to be operated directly from your wall socket. For regions where wall outlets may not have built-in switches (such as the US), we include a handy plug adaptor with an integrated on/off switch.

CUSTOM CONNECTOR & REFINED DETAILS
At the center sits our custom-designed connector. We’ve modeled and precision printed this in biodegradable, non-toxic PLA.
It ensures exact alignment between the legs and central spine while preserving the lamp’s clean silhouette.
At the top, a subtle carved groove allows the rope cable to sit securely before it drops over the edge, maintaining a controlled, intentional line.
Small details. Thoughtfully resolved.
NATURAL MATERIALS & WABI-SABI CHARACTER
We favor natural woods – and that’s evident here. We’ve crafted this sculptural floor lamp from solid light-toned wood paired with our woven bamboo shade. Each piece thus carries its own grain, tone, and texture. No two lamps are identical.
Variations are embraced rather than corrected – a quiet nod to wabi-sabi. Authenticity over perfection.
PLACEMENT & USE
This lamp works anywhere, but is most at home in spaces where calm and balance abound – places with a little ‘zen’.
Beside a sofa to soften a seating area or in an unused corner where vertical height is needed without adding bulk. The slim wooden spine draws the eye upward, which helps a room feel taller and generally just more considered.
TRIPOD FLOOR LAMP - FAQ
Is this tripod floor lamp suitable for small rooms?
Yes. The minimal open base design helps keep the visual footprint light, so it doesn’t dominate smaller spaces. It works particularly well in apartments or rooms where heavier floor lamps feel overwhelming.
Does the bamboo shade provide bright light?
Your choice of bulb will be the main factor here, but we've designed the lamp with ambient lighting in mind. It creates atmosphere rather than task light - ideal for living rooms, bedrooms, studios, or slow, quiet spaces. A warm color bulb with a low wattage is our recommendation. That's what you can see in the photos. The effect is warm and natural rather than bright and clinical. Designed to complement minimalist, Japandi-style interiors where lighting is layered and intentional.
Is each lamp exactly the same?
No, this is a handmade wooden floor lamp - a true made-to-order piece. It's crafted from natural woods, meaning slight variations in size, grain, tone, texture and/or weave are expected and ultimately part of its character.
Can this lamp work in Scandinavian interiors?
Absolutely. It has a solid, light-toned wood structure, neutral palette, and minimal form - it doesn't get much more modern minimalist Scandinavian!
Does it require assembly?
Yes, but only minimal. If you scroll through the photo gallery you will see a picture of the unassembled lamp pieces. There are four wooden poles, a connector for them, and then a swag light and shade. All that's needed is for you to fit the poles into the connector and hang the light shade on the poles. It's a 30 second job and requires no tools or other parts.
