Woven by a small group of women in a quiet Thai province, these water hyacinth table placemats are perfect for adding a natural touch to your dining.

Larger than seagrass, water hyacinth stalks are softer with a warm golden brown outside as well as being naturally biodegradable and non-toxic. They are pliable, flexible and durable for weaving, not as rigid as bamboo and rattan, producing exquisite results with beautiful hues.

The natural water hyacinth is woven by hand in a circular pattern and then carefully pressed to create a flat surface.

Set includes 4 individual placemats with an approximate diameter of 12 inches.
