A large, tribal pouf ottoman crafted using authentic, ethnic textiles from the hill tribes of Southeast Asia.

Featuring an indigo-dyed hemp fabric sourced from the Hmong tribe, this colorful ottoman pouf radiates eclectic vibes and genuine character. Not to mention, it’s supremely comfortable when stuffed full of organic kapok filling.

The fabric that this ottoman is crafted from is thick and full of texture, with every aspect hand-applied and created. From the batik motifs and patterns to the embroidered cross-stitch and deep red lines running around the circular shape, it’s full of traditional techniques applied with the human touch. We’ve completed the look with dark blue corded borders for a modern and professional finish. Finally, a zip enclosure enables you to easily remove the cover and change the filling.

Choose from two options: cover only or cover with a filled insert of natural kapok.

CREATING VINTAGE OTTOMAN VIBES WITH TRIBAL FABRIC

This vintage fabric ottoman is not only stunning but rich in tradition and artistry. The fabric used was once part of a hill tribe dress, traditionally worn by members of the Hmong. Woven using natural hemp, dyed by hand, and with handstitch embroidery and motifs, the textile is an individual work of art. We’ve repurposed the dress fabric to create this incredibly unique tribal pouf ottoman.
