The vibrant textile is traditionally woven and stamped indigo batik, sourced from the Hmong of Northern Thailand, complete with hot pink embroidery. Straight lines and diamond-shaped waves in bright pink cotton run the length of the fabric and around the ottoman, creating a beautiful contrast with the deep indigo hues.

The versatile color combination makes this ottoman easy to mix and match with your existing furniture. Whether your style is eclectic, bohemian, or just effortlessly cool, this ottoman will fit right in.

Corded borders separate the top and bottom sections, made from locally woven, slightly textured, plain blue cotton. A durable zipper under the bottom cord makes for easy cleaning and simple filling, whether with loose stuffing or an insert.

Available as an ottoman cover only, ready to be stuffed with your favorite filling material, or complete with a cotton insert filled with natural, organic kapok from the Ceiba tree.

We also create regular throw pillows using this fabric – great for matching with this ottoman.

LOOKING AFTER YOUR OTTOMAN

As many of our creations are made from hand-dyed textiles, a little care is needed when washing and cleaning. Same deal with this beautiful indigo and hot pink ottoman. Nothing too fancy, just a few things to be aware of.

Importantly, try to avoid heavy machine washing, as this can be quite harsh on dyed fabric, resulting in a loss of vibrancy. We recommend hand washing in warm water – nice and simple. Usually, a good scrub by hand is more than enough, but if you have to use some form of soap, opt for a light, chemical-free option. Don’t forget to remove any fill material or insert before washing the cover.

If you’re using kapok as a fill, you don’t need to do much to maintain its soft and supportive form. Every now and again, simply open up your ottoman, fluff up the kapok by hand, move it around a little, and you’re good to go. Feel free to add or remove kapok until you find your perfect level of comfort.
