THE PLAYFUL ELEGANCE OF OUR INDIGO & HOT PINK OTTOMAN
What makes our classic indigo and hot pink ottoman special? Plenty, really, not least the color combination. Hot pink brings a lively and playful energy, while indigo blue adds a touch of calm sophistication. It’s an ottoman that effortlessly balances fun and style, making it the perfect addition to any laid-back setting.
Next up – the fabric. True to our roots, we source authentic hill tribe textiles from the communities of Southeast Asia, with this indigo and hot pink fabric being one of our personal favorites. The hand-dyeing techniques and subsequent splashes of indigo, the slight imperfections – true character you won’t find in mass-produced fabrics or ottomans. We also create regular throw pillows using this fabric – great for matching with this ottoman.
Then there’s comfort. Crucially important with an ottoman, they’re made for relaxing after all. With our kapok inserts, it’s like sitting on a cloud – soft, supportive, and oh-so-comfy. Plus, kapok is hypoallergenic and eco-friendly, making it a win-win for comfort and the planet.
Overall, this is an ottoman with a casual and stylish touch that brings together the best of both worlds, while also being authentically artisan crafted using genuine ethnic textiles. We love it, you will too.
LOOKING AFTER YOUR OTTOMAN
As many of our creations are made from hand-dyed textiles, a little care is needed when washing and cleaning. Same deal with this beautiful indigo and hot pink ottoman. Nothing too fancy, just a few things to be aware of.
Importantly, try to avoid heavy machine washing, as this can be quite harsh on dyed fabric, resulting in a loss of vibrancy. We recommend hand washing in warm water – nice and simple. Usually, a good scrub by hand is more than enough, but if you have to use some form of soap, opt for a light, chemical-free option. Don’t forget to remove any fill material or insert before washing the cover.
If you’re using kapok as a fill, you don’t need to do much to maintain its soft and supportive form. Every now and again, simply open up your ottoman, fluff up the kapok by hand, move it around a little, and you’re good to go. Feel free to add or remove kapok until you find your perfect level of comfort.
